Well, we have all had time to take a deep breathe after our successful show last weekend. Time to plan another one! SARBA is tentatively planning our HARVEST SHOW for September 9-10 (or 9-11?)And we have some *FUN* *NEW* *EXCITING* events and also fundraisers!

First: Commercial Meat Pens! This one’s important because you’re going to want to breed your does in the next week or so (if you haven’t already.) We will get info about this out ASAP!
Second: Meat Rabbit Workshop! Want to learn more about producing rabbits for meat? How to select the best qualities in your breeding stock? How to produce the meatiest buns in your hippie commune? Bring in your own rabbits for helpful evaluations and suggestions. Hands on and casual! SARBA is planning on putting together a Meat Rabbit Committee, headed by our favourite meat rabbit guy, Josh, from JRL Rabbits. If you’ve met Josh you know he is passionate about his rabbits! He raises NZ in a multitude of colours, and Californians. He also runs the Meat Rabbits Alberta Facebook page. As SARBA is not a club just for pedigreed show rabbits, but for meat and also pet rabbits, we are hoping to expand our audience and provide community and content for all rabbit people all over Southern Alberta!
Third: New Fundraising! Make your favourite rabbit an Instagram star! Maybe they’ll get featured on the cover of our community cookbook! We will be looking for rabbit recipes, as well as your favourite non-rabbit recipes (for the Holland lop owners 
), and the best pics of your hoppy friends!
